Raku  History

 

 

BIOGRAFIA

 

The artist Antonella Panepuccia received the certificate in Raku ceramics at UPTER University in Rome.

She has learnt the potter’s wheel technique from the masters Giovanni Magliano and Lorenzo Bellini and she has been trained by the famous potter masters and Raku ceramists  in their workshops.

Her creativity is marked by the continuous search of new expressive forms with their peculiarities.

She has always lived very close to nature and she can’t do without its basic elements anymore

EARTH  AIR  WATER  FIRE         

  the fundamental elements of  Raku ceramics.

A colour or a shape inspires and enriches her professionalism and when spurred in her creative imagery she is invested with the delicate mission of transferring her feelings emotions and moods through the visual communication.

She holds personal and group exhibitions.

  Most of her works of art are exhibited in Italian and foreign art galleries, other works of art belong to private art collections.

PUBLICATIONS AND REVIEWS

Some works of art are published in famous art and architecture magazines: 4 a MAGAZINE, CARNET  DI  VIAGGIO,  ART ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS, THE NEW COURIER, THE VOICE OF CASTLES, TUSCOLANA CITY, EQUESTRIAN AND ENVIRONMENT etc

 COMPETITIONS - EXHIBITIONS

          In 2002 she attended the 1st national competition of ceramics art in UDINE  - Italy

 

         In 2004 she attended the 4th national competition of ceramics “Bramarte” at “Casina delle  Civette” of villa  Torlonia in ROMA  -  Italy

 

 In 2007 in ROMA she exhibited her works together with the most famous Japanese sculptors, the master TOSHIHIKO MINAMOTO

 

 In 2007 together with 460 artists of 23 countries she accomplished one of her works of art in  Paso de los Libres  - Corrients – Argentina “PLACAS  DE  ARTISTAS” the biggest murals in the world;  it will soon make the Guinness of world records

 

From 9 February to 8 March  2008 is on display at the exhibition of selection for Italy '08 Biennial at the Museum of Modern Art and Contemporary Arts Unification of Italy at Teano - CASERTA - Italy

 

Classified 1st  to  the INTERNATIONAL  REVIEW OF CONTEMPORARY ART "Art and Artists of the italian Terra" in homage to the great tenor LUCIANO PAVAROTTI staged in the Castle of Capalbio in GROSSETO - Italy - from 24 to 27 April 2008 with an excellent success with the public and critical

 

 April /May 2008 took part to Show of Contemporary Art "BIENNIAL ITALY'08" with the production of the known names of contemporary art: Simon Benetton, Ariel Soulè, Jorrit Tornquist, Bruno Donzelli, Alfonso Coppola, Matthew Bosi, Tommaso Cascella, Franco Costalonga, Mario Paschetta, Diego Palasgo, Stefano Lenner, Enrico Manera, Lidia Bachis, Cleonice Gioia, Giampaolo Talani.
The event will be held at the historic building of the Bourbons
SITE OF REAL SAN LEUCIO to CASERTA - Italy  appointed by UNESCO Heritage of Humanity

     

       June 2008 took part in the collective exhibition of art craft "MEMORY IN TRAVEL"   at the Municipale Theatre  "Sacred Heart" in Grottaferrata (ROMA)  organized by ACS (Art Culture Entertainment) sponsored by  Lazio Region,    Province of Rome,   City  Grottaferrata  the Mountain Community of Roman Castles  and Mountains Prenestini
